The Certificate III in Animal Care Services is designed to be completed in 12 months, with 15–20 hours per week of flexible online study, plus 120 hours of practical placement.
Practical placement can be completed at any approved animal care facility, including veterinary clinics, shelters, or boarding kennels. The college can assist with placement arrangements in your area.
Graduates are prepared for roles such as animal welfare attendant, dog daycare assistant, veterinary receptionist/support officer, dog grooming assistant, pet sitting or dog walking business owner, and other animal care positions.
